Great news for Paris riders and travelers passing through: Good Motors is opening a new self-service motorcycle rental location at Paris Gare de Lyon Bastille. It is our third spot in the capital, after Gare Montparnasse and Gare du Nord. The principle that made our success stays the same: book online, pick up your motorcycle on your own, and ride.
A self-service motorcycle between Gare de Lyon and Bastille
Our motorcycles are now parked at 1 avenue Daumesnil, in the 12th arrondissement, a short walk from Gare de Lyon on one side and Place de la Bastille on the other. Stepping off a TGV from Lyon, Marseille or Geneva? A few minutes on foot and you are on your bike. Living in eastern Paris? This is probably the closest Good Motors location to your home.
The spot was not chosen at random: Gare de Lyon is one of the busiest train stations in Europe, and the Bastille district is the perfect starting point to escape towards the southeast. In just a handful of kilometers you are already out of the city: Fontainebleau and its forest, Burgundy and the Morvan are within easy reach for a day or a weekend.
How does it work?
Like all our locations, rental is 100% self-service, available 7 days a week. The process comes down to four steps: you choose your bike and options online, you confirm the booking with a card hold in a few seconds, you collect the keys and gear on your own on the day, then you ride off. No agency, no queue, no opening hours to watch: you decide when to leave, early morning or late evening. New to the concept? We explain everything in our article how to pick up your Good Motors motorcycle in 2 minutes.

Why a new location in Paris?
Because you asked for it! Gare de Lyon kept coming up in your searches and messages. Between east-Paris riders who had to cross the whole city to Montparnasse and travelers arriving by TGV from the south, it was an obvious move: the east side was missing a spot. This one completes our Paris coverage and our national network of train station locations. Find them all in the full list of our rental locations in France.
